Paint the Pony - Annual Campaign

Paint the Pony is a FUNDRAISER and FRIENDRAISER intended to help CTRC raise much needed funds, gain new volunteers, and build greater awareness about CTRC in the community. Paint the Pony (PtP) encourages volunteers and riders to write their own letter about their CTRC experience and send it, along with the PtP materials, to friends, relatives, co-workers or business associates they feel comfortable sharing this with.

Because CTRC charges riders less then the actual cost per lesson 72% of CTRC’s operating money must be fundraised to cover the balance. 100% of all money raised during Paint the Pony will be used entirely for Program Expenses with prizes awarded to volunteers and riders who raise the most money. CTRC’s power lies in the members of our community – our volunteers, our riders, our staff and our horses. Currently, CTRC has 250 volunteers, 160+ riders and 10+ staff members. If each of us had 10 people in our lives that were willing to donate $10 we would raise $41,000. Or if each of us were able to recruit just one volunteer we would have an additional 410 volunteers.
