Online Donation

Join the Race to Support CTRC! It’s even easier to be part of the CTRC Team by donating online. Our online donation site is secure and allows you to donate quickly and easily. Choose from one of our donation categories or select your own amount. 100% of your contribution will go directly to supporting program services.

Sponsor A Rider or Sponsor A Class
At CTRC we are acutely aware of the financial demands with which many of our families are struggling. Individuals with disabilities typically incur substantially greater expenses related to medical care, education, transportation, recreation, and even daily living. Because therapeutic riding provides such profound and positive effects in the lives of individuals with disabilities, CTRC is deeply committed to ensuring that our program services remain affordable. Consequently, our lesson fees cover less than 40% of our lesson costs. However, even at this level, it is impossible for some of our participants to pay lesson fees. By sponsoring a rider, or a class, you are ensuring that the power and benefits of therapeutic riding remain accessible!

The Paint the Pony Annual Campaign
Our Paint the Pony Annual Campaign helps to support all of CTRC programs, services, horses and riders. These are unrestricted monies used to meet the daily program operating expenses at CTRC. Stock donations are also accepted and appreciated.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsors play a significant role in the success of our special events, from benefit dinners to horse shows. CTRC works with Corporate Sponsors to customize their involvement in order to best meet the corporations’ specific philanthropic, marketing and employee interest and involvement needs.

Capital Projects
Trailers, tractors, trucks, equipment, barns, sheds, fencing, footing, as well as ongoing maintenance and repairs, are realities for a 39-acre horse facility like CTRC. Ensuring that the facility is maintained appropriately is critical to our ability to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our participants and we have ongoing needs for financial and in-kind support in this area.

Memorial and Honorary Gifts
Donations can be made in memory of a friend or loved one – two and four legged. Gifts can also be made in honor of a special person or event in your life. If the donor wishes, CTRC will notify the designated person, or family, in whose name the gift is being given.

Pledge
Some people prefer to make a pledge because it enables them to spread a gift commitment over a defined period of time. If you are interested in making a Pledge, we can work with you to determine a pledge amount, pledge period and whether or not you want to restrict your pledge for a specific use or apply your pledge unrestricted, where the need is greatest.

Adopt-A-Horse
The funds donated through Adopt-A-Horse are applied only to horse care and help pay for feed, supplements, shoes, vet care, and medication for our loyal therapy herd. Adopt-A-Horse pledges can be paid annually or monthly. Oftentimes a group or family will choose to go together to Adopt-A-Horse.

Horse Donations
CTRC’s therapeutic horses serve as unique vehicles for inspiring positive changes in the lives of our participants. CTRC maintains a herd of 24 horses – and every one has been donated to us! Clearly, without people in the community donating horses, CTRC would be unable to operate. If you donate your horse to CTRC you can be assured that your horse will receive exceptional care, unlimited love, and constant attention and appreciation.

Matching Gift
Many corporations, over 500 in the United States, have matching gift programs where they will match the charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees, even spouses. Check with your company or organization to see if they have a matching gift program. If they do you may be able to double your gift to CTRC. (Because policies vary check with your company’s or organization’s human resource contact about enrollment forms and match gift guidelines.)


Special Events
CTRC holds several special events each year with the proceeds benefiting our programs. You can help sponsor, or take part in, these fun events and help support CTRC programs and services.

In-Kind
In-kind giving is the donation of goods or services& – such as the donation of hay, equipment, technology or tack. We welcome and graciously accept in-kind giving year round. These donations help to ease the financial load of our programs in many ways. As the donor, you place the monetary value on such a contribution for tax purposes. Planned Giving
Making a planned gift is an excellent way to help ensure the long-term future of CTRC. You can make a difference that will last beyond your lifetime by naming CTRC as a beneficiary in your will, on an insurance policy, or in a retirement account. There are many ways in which supporters can create a legacy at CTRC.

You can help donate money to CTRC through your internet searching and shopping by using GoodSearch.com and GoodShop.com

GoodSearch.com is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up! GoodShop.com is a new online shopping mall which donates up to 37 percent of each purchase to designated causes! Hundreds of great stores including Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop.com and every time you place an order, you'll be supporting CTRC.
