Retired Horse Sanctuary (RHS)

Commitment to the Horse is one of CTRC's Core Values. Ensuring that our horses receive the optimum care and are treated with dignity and respect in all phases of their lives is the mainstay of our organization.

Consequently, in 2010 we instituted our Retired Horse Sanctuary (RHS). When we retire a horse and, due to a multitude of factors, that horse is deemed "unadoptable", but with proper care is still able to live a comfortable life, CTRC commits to retiring that horse to our RHS. These horses live out their lives in a safe, comfortable and familiar environment, surrounded by individuals who are dedicated to their care and well being.

With your support the RHS can continue to be a place to call home for these phenomenal horses who have given years of devoted service and unconditional friendship to so many.

Pretty is as pretty does and boy-oh-boy is Pretty pretty. Pretty grew up with a child rider with most of her training in dressage with some trail work. As a very solid horse with slow & steady movement she was a natural for her work at CTRC. Retired after working with kids and adults at CTRC for 7 years Pretty now enjoys a extra bit of pampering. She looks pretty all on her own but she is never one to pass up a grooming session. She loves to be around kids and loves when anyone tells her how pretty she is.

Pretty is available for Adoption or Foster
