PAINT THE PONY 2008 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN is underway!

Paint the Pony is a FUNDRAISER and FRIENDRAISER intended to help CTRC raise much needed funds, gain new volunteers, and build greater awareness about CTRC in the community beginning Monday October 27th and running through December 31st 2008.

Everyday at CTRC we experience powerful moments and Paint the Pony (PtP) encourages volunteers and riders to write their own letter about their CTRC experience and send it, along with the PtP materials, to friends, relatives, co-workers or business associates to join with us to keep the power of Therapeutic Riding alive! 100% of all money raised is used entirely for Program Expenses.

Why get involved with Paint the Pony?

•	CTRC charges $32 per lesson. CTRC’s actual cost per lesson is $92. Therefore, CTRC must raise the remaining $60 per lesson. Consequently, CTRC needs to fundraise nearly 70% of our operating money each year.
•	In 2008, CTRC has experienced a 100% increase in requests for Scholarship
•	The Power of PtP lies in our numbers. CTRC has 250 active volunteers, 165 active riders, 14 staff members and 10 Board Members. If all 439 members of our current CTRC family were to give $25 we would raise $10,975.
•	However, if even half of our community, 219 of us, were to get involved and got 9 people involved on our behalf and each of us gave just $25 we would be able to raise $54,875! So You can help so much by reaching out to family, friends, co-workers, business associates.
•	Because TOGETHER we can do so much…

Prizes, Prizes, Prizes

•	High Point: The individual raising the most money will receive -- Carmella for a classroom show and tell (or similar visit) OR $200 certificate for dinner at one of our area's fine restaurants.
•	The All Around The class that raises the most money will get a free class lesson and an on-site celebration.
•	$1000 Club All volunteers and riders who raise over $1,000 will receive a Limited Edition Paint the Pony tote
