Programs at CTRC
CTRC does offer
alternative programs in order to involve members of
our community that can directly benefit from
participating in our programs as well as providing
classes to those who directly support CTRC's riders.
AHA Workshop: In conjunction with
American Hippotherapy Association, CTRC
offers Equine Skills: Level One and
Hippotherapy and Treatment Principles: Level
One Workshops to those interested in
learning more about utilizing Hippotherapy
as a treatment strategy. Therapeutic Riding
Instructors, therapists, administrators and
others are encouraged to attend.

Become an Instructor: Pair up your
horse sense and teaching skills in the exciting and
rewarding career of a Therapeutic Riding Instructor.

Classic Riding: Classic riding is a structured group class offered for a fee to active volunteers and Parents/Caregivers of CTRC Riders only.

Community Groups: CTRC is a strong supporter of our surrounding communities. We invite schools, recreation, therapy or other groups to get involved.

Creating Camp Workshop: With the
success of our All Abilities Summer Camps, CTRC is
excited to offer our Creating Camp Workshop for
Therapeutic Riding Centers interested in creating or
enhancing Summer Camp Programs. This one of a kind

Research Study: CTRC is excited to announce that we will be teaming up with The Children's Hospital to conduct a research study focusing on the effects of therapeutic horseback riding on children and adolescents with autism or Asperger's.
