Commitment is a week at a time, with the camp week being Monday-Thursday 8:45am-12:30pm (half day) or until 3pm (for the full day) for 1, 2, 3...up to 10 weeks. These start June 4th and run through August 9th (so 10 possible weeks total). Summer camp volunteering works really well if someone cannot commit to being here the whole summer. Volunteering is open for those 14-15 with horse experience or 16+ without horse experience. Teen Leaders aged 15 do not need any horse experience. Teen Leaders volunteer for at least 4 out of the 10 weeks of camp from 8:45am-4pm.

If you volunteer for just the half day (8:45am-12:30), you are here for the morning circle-up and then two back-to-back therapeutic riding lessons (volunteering as either a horse leader or side walker OR in the Ranch House with arts
& crafts); for the full day (8:45am-3pm), you are here for the morning therapeutic riding lesson volunteering, then at 12:30 you have a break for lunch (with your awesome new CTRC volunteer friends!), then in the afternoon, you will help out fun things like playing in the sprinklers with the campers and the afternoon equine learning activities.
